I have been thinking a lot about the theme of refuge this New Year, and reflecting about all the places where I take refuge when the outer world seems to be coming apart at the seams. Two things come to mind for me: nurturing my inner life, the practices I do everyday to re-set, and the coaching and consulting work I get to do with my clients to accelerate their work.

I have been thinking about what it is takes to Play Our “A” Game in our life and business. The aftermath of a recent hard choice led me to think about another analogy which I call Next Shot.
